Glad you have a direct line because I'd like to have this explained. While I was in jail I had an inmate ask the preacher how it is that a person such as me that caused no physical, psychological, financial, or emotional harm on anyone else or the community should be locked up. By the way, I was busted for growing for personal use. His answer was Romans 13! And here's the passage:

Romans 13
Submission to the Authorities
1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. 4For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. 6This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. 7Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

naw try again gov's have caused more blood shed.hardly any of our gov is christian.just because they use the title as a crutch to win votes don't make it so.do you really think a christian gov would take prayer out of schools or anything to do with god out of gov buildings? you really thing they would support abortion,gays so on? War really is just old men talking, and young men fighting/dying. The young men and women that are in the Marines/Army/Navy etc.. are probably a good percentage of Christians. And what do you think these people join the service to do? Spread the word of Christ? No, more like kill anyone who stands in the way, or occupy their land and control it. So you see, it does not only revolve around politicians portraying to be Christians, but also the actual soldiers and people in the service are apart of this blood shed, which looking at the values of Jesus, I DO NOT think WAR is WHAT JESUS WOULD DO. What makes you think that government is only responsible for contradicting christian/american ideas ? Government is supposed to be controlled by the people anyway, which goes back to the American populous, which is Christians.

Regardless of who is supposed to run the government and who actually does,
it does not dismiss the fact that, like stated before and you just ignored, governments are not the only people responsible for bloodshed. I wrote "supposed" to for a reason, because it is obvious that government makes its own decisions, and has done so for a very long time.

Just answer these questions for me, if the answer is Yes(true), move to the next question.

GOD judges the heart. These young soldiers. Alot of them are decieved and do not know any better. Just because they are forced to kill somebody by the military does not mean they are disgusting horrible wicked people. Matter of fact, you should respect them for what they do. WAR is stupid and wrong by all means but it will never stop. These kids are exploited in the military and I think GOD can understand that.

p4b, you question is so simple that even an old atheist like me can answer it. just as god and his earthly representatives, the clergy, have dominion over your immortal soul, so does secular authority own your ass. you are nothing, a mere speck of dust in the cosmos, and should know your place as a willing slave to the god-given power of authority. all those with power over you have that power by the grace of god, they have been placed here by the almighty to see to your welfare and safety while you visit this earth. your duty is to obey, not to question or revolt against whatever laws our earthly masters see fit to enforce. their judgment is in the hands of god, not your unworthy mitts.

according to christianity. god didnt want to start saving people in china or north america until the 15th century. He only intended on some people getting saved until we created technology to reach the other parts of the world. Until missionaries could reach south america in the 1500's

I have problems believing a 2,000 year old book. For one , its the most edited book in human history, and two its been re written by governments, politicians, and god knows who else to brainwash and control.


There is a god(or some kind of creator) but I dont think praying really hard, singing, and giving money every sunday is gunna get you into the promise land.
