two reasons i see for the shutdown and moratoriums...

1. 90%+ of the dispensaries are open for one single reason. because they sold weed BEFORE 215, and they found a quick easy way to make way more money, charge way more than street prices, and to do it legally. alot of counties are catching onto this fact.

2. everyone knows that AB390 will most likely pass. our state is so far in the red budgetwise they are going to do anything they can to get funds rolling in. the states already thinking of ways to spend the money. AB390 passed the public safety committee today without a hitch, and the experts are now saying that was the main test, and that it will pass the health committee and assembly vote without any issues. im thinking that these places that have placed a moratorium are looking to the future. when the bill passess thru, there wont be any need for 215 dispensaries anymore, as youll be able to grow and use it yourself, and those who cant grow will be able to walk right into places that sell tobacco and alcohol and buy it alot cheaper......

if it were me, id probably not waste my time until i found out of AB390 passess all the way thru

He said it's part of the new law limiting dispensaries to 70 from 600 or so. So now I'm looking all over the state to find a city or county that will allow me to open but there's so many moratoriums and bans I can't find something. Is there a list or something that will tell me what the situation is legally city by city (or county by county). Rating: 5
