I was watching a special on msnbc I believe and they were talking about the dispensaries in Oakland, which aren't allowed to make a profit....enough to funnel back into supply for the business, and covering expenses to maintain their place of business.

I've only lived in California for a few years and never ran into $20-30 1/8th's, I can't smoke the red bud here, its horrible quality, no offense!! The cheapest I've ever payed was $45 and that was a one time thing. The dealer I use to have is the equivalent of what my gf is getting now through the dispensaries minus a few dollars. It's better quality, you know what your getting, and its safe access.

California is very liberal that's why I moved here from Texas, but I think that once the med. marijuana laws get enacted here, there never properly planned.

Are there any dispensaries near schools here in Sac?
Are permits given to dispensaries in order to operate? If so why would they give permits to dispensaries if their are in a zone that they feel is inappropriate?

I hope there is better organization and a vision for things to run smoothly with AB390.

Just Tax the Dispensary's like they do in Oakland, the city makes a profit!!
