Trying to get legal...
Hi, I am a student in Eugene and suffer severe pain in my left ankle due to a spiral fracture about 5 years ago. Unbelievably, it still bothers me and I hate the way pharmaceutical drugs make me feel. I am seeking my patient card for the only natural remedy and was wondering if anyone could help me out with some details.
I have visited my doctor about my ankle but haven't asked him about medical marijuana yet. He is just a general MD. I had an xray done and there were no abnormalities as far as bones go. However, he believes there might be ligament damage or something like that. Does this make me eligible for medical cannabis? I would sure hope that it does because whenever I smoke, my ankle relaxes and I can more easily stretch it out and it feels tons better.
He has referred me to an orthopedist who will probably do an expensive CT scan on me. I hope that all this costly mumbo jumbo will pay off. I don't want any freakin hidracodone.Audioholic Reviewed by Audioholic on . Trying to get legal... You don't need to get the card from your doctor. If you can get a diagnosis from a specialist, then just take that information and go to the MAMA clinic. They have a doctor there that will review the diagnosis of the specialist and decide if MJ may help with the pain.
The odds are far better than if you have your doctor or a specialist do it for you directly.

The Hemp and Cannabis (THC) Foundation says that you need 3 documented visits regarding your alleged ailment before you can see one of their doctors... Or wait, Do I not necessarily have to see one of their doctors?

I don't know about the 3 visits aspect. I got my card by simply having my medical records from my specialist transfered to that MAMA clinic. I went there, saw their doctor, took their class/instructional presentation and got my card.
