Anyone try an Arizer Exreme Q Vaporizer

    Olla Peeps,

I have been wanting a highly efficient vaporizer, But I dont have 600 bucks to shell out for a volcano. And I have inquired on here as to A good Efficient vape but less $ and was pointed to 3
    DBV Da Budda Vape
    SSV Silver Surfer Vape
    The Arizer Extreme Vape

Now Looking at the DBV and he SSV both are practically Identical except the only difference I can ascertain is the slanted shape of the SSV.

The arizer extreme v3.0 is nice Does whip hits and also does baloons. And has a supposed accurate temp displayed. The DBV and the SSV have a knob with no indications as to temperaure so you need to go thru a trial and error type phase to know what the knob should be at for you.

Now Im searching on ebay for a deal on the Arizer extreme v3.0 and I see
Arizer Extreme Q Which looks nice. A Midnight Chrome Dark Metal Finish

Well Unless Someone Has a New and better Vape to speak of I am going to get an Arizer Extreme v3.0 or an Arizer Extreme Q all depends on the $ currently i see on ebay a new seller with feedback of 1(as a buyer) offering bids on 3 different listings starting at $199 (possible scammer). But there are regular offerings Around 249 from better rated sellers. And the Extreme Q is being offered by one seller who is apparently the only distributor for it. and auction starting out at 260.07us and buy it now for 299. so looking at those prices I will get the exreme if I get it for under 270 otherwise the extreme v3.0 for 250.

    Any feedback is appreciated

The Extreme Q just came out so I doubt that anyone has one yet to be able to review it. Should be a great vape but being you mentioned that efficiency is important to you, I suggest that you look at the HerbalAire for an whip/bag combo vape, or a Purple Days, which is one of the most efficient vapes on the planet.

The SSV, Buddha and the Extreme are all great vapes, but efficiency is not one of their strong suits.
    Current Vapes: Purple Days
    Past Vapes: VaporGenie----Iolite-----VaporStar----Da Buddha----Zephyr Ion

Well been looking for the purple Days Vape and cant find one for sale and notice its about 5 years old. I find it strange that a vape that is 5 years old and no one seems to carry it.
Ohh wait I found it. Seems to be exclusively Sold on Herbal Vaporizer Shopping & Reviews @ VapeNow.com
and they are on a 10 week waiting list and increased the price to 180 which to be put on the list you need to shell out. I cant see spending that much and then have to wait 10 weeks (heck you could watch grass grow while waiting) and to wait 10 weeks One needs patience And I have Very Little If any.

Another vape that is just as efficient as the Purple Days is the MyrtleZap. Cheaper and no waiting list. Differences are that the Zap uses brass in their bowls and heat exchanger, and the PD uses stainless steel. Also, the warranty on the PD is 12 times as long. Just thought I'd throw out another option.

Well Other options are what I asked for so it IS appreciated.:rastasmoke:

As for the the difference of Purple Days to MyrtleZap being the Brass vs Stainless Steel Heat Diffuser... Is there a health related concern from heating of the one or the other??? I understand according the Purple days Website is that the brass heat diffuser was 1990 tech and the stainless steel is y2k tech and supposedly the additional fins help to regulae the proper temp. the only thing I dont care for on Purple Days or MyrtleZap is the time it takes to get up to operating temp of 30-40 min Understood that the power consumption is minimal and you can leave it running all day but i feel doing that would affect the longevity hey might offer a 3 year warranty but I Personally hate dealing with waranties finding receipts or records of purchase figuring if its under a warranty and then sending out and waiting on repair. Hey in a perfect world who needs a warranty?

Me still is leaning towards the arizer extreme v3.0 or Arizer Extreme Q. I have heard efficiency is good on the arizer extreme v3.0 and i doubt efficiency would lower on the newer quieter better constructed Q model.

Actually, with electronic components, what causes wear and tear is the temp fluctuations that occur when you turn them off and on. It's the hot to cold and cold to hot, etc etc etc that really puts a strain on them. A constant operating temp is actually less harmful.

I have noticed your posts in other forums, you seem rather fixated on the purple days and myrtle zap type vapes. Have you ever used any other types?

I have failed to menion that i have tried a vape b4 when they first appeared in the mid 90's. As for the type i was a soldering iron positioned vertically with a metal bowl sitting where the soldering tip should be. and surrounding the apparatus is a glass bowl and a tube out the botom to hit off of. It was so ineffective and inefficient it turned me off the vape scene for years.

    .
He prefers those vaporizers because they are simply the most efficient on the market. He's just trying to save you some money in the long run.

I however prefer the monster hits available from the SSV and the DBV. I love them so much in fact that I started selling the units on eBay and in a local headshop. I also just sold my black SSV and upgraded to the pricey limited edition SSV Mind Eraser. In over a year of owning my SSV, I have not had one person try it and be disappointed.

EDIT: The SSV does provide bigger hits due to a slightly different wand design.

Well I have looked ino the SSV and DBV and liked their ceramic heater but was also told that the same heater is in the Arizer extreme and the v3.0 has the kinks worked out wih displayed temp from v1 and v2 and there is a new Q model out now that is appealing.

I've read that the glass is super fragile with the Arizer and I don't know how much I trust those digital controls to last forever. The original SSV is still running and hasn't been turned off or anything for like 8 or 9 years.
