Is leaf safer for me to tolerate than buds ?
I would like to start smoking weed again however it has been 10 years since I had my last smoke as I was forced to quit soon after developing a very rare, unusal and complex disabling neurological condition known as Autonomic Dysfunction. This illness has left me with a very severe chemical sensitivity to all substances that has an influence on my Autonomic system such as stimulants, depressants, anelgesics even alcohol.
My adverse reactions to these substances are so severe that even trying a very small amount of any opiate medication for my chronic pain, or having one glass of beer or a shot of spirits results in severe adverse reactions and a trip to the ER with abnormal blood pressures, irregular heart, fevers and hyperthermia, muscle spasms, repiratory depression, headches, abnormally slow pulse to racing heart and feeling horribly unwell.
Because of this drug sensitivity I am stuck with I'm very reluctant to try cannibis again as I am unsure how severe my adverse reactions will be, so I was wondering if I could manage to find some outdoor grown low grade weak cannibis leaf there would be a less chance I would have a bad reaction to it as opposed to smoking a hydro bud ? Also it safe take betablockers right before I begin smoking so it would control the change in heart rate and blood pressure ?Fuzzzy Reviewed by Fuzzzy on . I wouldn't try mid-grade, most of the stuff out there is dirty and littered with either chemicals from the growing process, or just shady people. I would recommend going with a leaf of a nice high grade MJ and only try a small amount of it. And then work your way up. Mid-grade is just so harsh and bad for you, definitely wouldn't recommend it for medicinal use.

Thanks for the suggestion, I hadnt realised that mid-grade stuff could be worse, Im glad you pointed that out. I might go with the higher quality leaf as you said and maybe try and scrape as much of the resin or crystals off the leaf as possible and then take only one puff on a joint and see how that goes, but my body is so screwed up that I had to ask you guys first before I gathered the courage to attempt it.
I was also wondering what if I didnt inhale my first puff and kept it in my mouth for a few seconds before exhaling it so that the blood vessels in my mouth could just abosrb only a minimal amount is it unlikly I would experience any complications from that ?

Maybe even using a vaporizer as a means of transfer would be better than actual smoking possibly? I could be completely wrong on this but I would still look into it since it is a cleaner and healthier way over smoking from either a joint, pipe, or bong as I'm understanding.

have you thought about making brownies or cookies?
Take this for an idea:
Get some good stuff, and use like maybe 1 gram in a batch of brownies, see if it does anything. In a 9"x9" pan cut into 9 brownies, that would be about .1 grams in each brownie. That should be tuned down enough for you and seeing as it is digested, will be elongated and stretched out as opposed to a hit of a joint.
Just an idea, look around for cannabis edibles recipes and just tone it down. The digestion should help with the intensity.

I hadn't considered eating it as I heard the effects could last longer in which case if I happen to have a severe reaction to it I did not want to be stuck with feeling unwell for such a long period of time, but I just want to test how my body reacts first and if all goes well I might follow your recipe later, cheers
