Wash. to appeal felon vote rule to U.S. Supreme Ct.
The lose of voting rights has never made sense. What does a felony have to do with voting? And as we've seen more and more things are becoming felonies. Won't be long before jaywalking will be a felony. I've always felt the only crimes that should be felonies are those involving violence.

Attorney General Rob McKenna and Secretary of State Sam Reed say they will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn an appellate courtâ??s decision that would give Washington state felons in prison and on community supervision the right to vote. McKenna and Reed announced their decision Wednesday.
