A few years ago I got my distillers license. I have a 15 gallon still that allows me to purify water or make ethanol. Two very important things if a major disaster comes up. Like Islandborn, I'm fairly well armed and do my own bullet loads in .223, .270 and .308. I've got a smoker and canner and all the supplies needed for preserving any foods I may be able to scrape up. I also purchased 5, 50 gallon food grade barrels for water storage.

I'd say I'm pretty well prepared. Not that I'm an extremist, but it takes very little effort to be incredibly prepared for whatever may come. As American's we always think the dooms day scenario can't happen and that you're an extremist if you prepare for it. People that think like that are ignorant of history and deserve what will befall them if a terrible event does occur. Not to mention, the items I've got for security are items that can be used any day of the week for a number of different uses so it's not as if they just sit there for a "just in case" moment.

Doing a door to door confiscation of guns would only be for the cities, it would take them years upon years to go door to door in every small town and house out in the sticks. Wont happen that way. Cities would be isolated and quarintined in some manner or purpose. There would be a demonization campaign against people "out there" fighting back. For the most part life will go on as normal(except for the fact of the people being organized into work camps and being fucking poor slaves) they will have convoys and air strikes for small towns and states that declare soverignty. Under continuity of govenrment Fema, has plans to break the Us up into 5 sectors of control. They have grid like camps and resupply depots all strategicly set up. There will be your seek and destroy squads set up and all that lovely shit. This is just to paint a pictures of what one of the MANY posiblities that could go down. Pardon my spelling.

While yes this may look like ordinary Military operations to most people, I get my knowledge and intel from ex military. Many people fall into the Government Psy opp that its futile to resist If it ever comes to this. Oh they have tanks, state of the art highteck starwars weapons, and thermal imaging. These people how ever have no clue about ground warfare.
