Did do some research, and found that strawberries and blueberries are a little too different to grow in the same bin, also seeing as blueberries are bushes and take a bit of time to grow. Anyways, I've decided to grow watermelons(small ones) and strawberries. Both of which like lots of light, so I will grow them on 18/6 for veg and 12/12 if they do not induce flowering themselves. Should be fun, we shall see what happens.

Doing it in a shorter of the rubbermaid totes doing 2x2 in 6" pots with hydroton. Planning on using the Flora III pt. Series by Gen. Hydro. My question is, what is the veg/flowering cycles of blueberries and strawberries, seeing as they produce fruit during the early/mid summer while it isn't natural 12/12.
