    Shov's Spring 2010 Grow

Sorry, no pics. It's been crazy around here.

Anyway, the plants are all looking nice. I have trimmed the lowest branches and just now FIMed the five Neville's Haze. I watered in with nutes and foliar. The temps are perfect.

I have to keep an eye on that this time of the year. Eventually I'll run a 400 Watt MH and that will keep it warmer during the 16 hr lights on and a little after. Otherwise a space heater is run during Rating: 5

I made up a batch of soil and transplanted yesterday into 3 gallon bags.

Soil : 50% home soil mix, 25% larger perlite, 25% Light Warrior

    Photo : Front row NH,
Mid row l to right, BG x BB, BG x BB, SSH x BB NH
    Backrow BG x BB

Sorry for the poor photo. I'd rather clean up the grow room than set up for a photo, at this point.

o btw, I did FIM the NH tops

Enhanced, I do run a vertical fan. The winter temps are low so I run the fan on low and from quite a distance from the light to keep the canopy temp up there. If it gets cooler, especially after flipping to bloom cycle, I use an electric heater to maintain a healthy temperature.

Super Silver Haze is a very nice smoke. Most folks like the Blueberry better, but different. I hope the cross pollination with the Blueberry male works out ok.

ya it gets cold outside where I live as well. Its winter. The cubby has its right wall connected with the outside wall. If that makes sence. Drilla hole threw the right wall your outside lol. The nighttime temps would bring her down 60-65 so I got a small space heater. Used it in 15m intervals every 3-4 hours but that really didnt help. I was having a high humid prob as well so it would get cold and lik 90% humid with moisture on the walls. So I would let her run with the doors a bit more closed the last few hours to get her temps up to 83-85 and then close her up with a inch crack between the door and put this blanket over the doors cuz of light leaks now all is well. I even put a smaller towel folded up in there at the very top to help absorb moisture and have about 6 moisture traps lol. Morning comes im around no lower than 70 which is nice and humid is around 45-50. I run my fan threw the night do you turn your off?

    Yes, fan on 24/7.
This afternoon I trimmed the lowers on all the plants. Foliar spray and light top watering. Added 4 x 4 T5HO 54W for side lighting (and warmth).

Good to know about the fan. I always have it on just because I feel that they need to keep a moving and I dont want the air to be setteling for mildew growth. Pics of the new lights?
