My wife and I were planning on greening our hill country house until we researched it and got 4 seperate estimates from different companies. They were all ridiculously expensive. The solar cells we researched to power the smaller 1700 sq. ft cabin were damn near 40,000 dollars......we laughed at the poor salesman. We did the research and it would take 2 decades to earn its worth. We decided on some skylights and a jacuzzi so we could rent it out year round instead....more profittable anyway.
