Harvest time - clear, cloudy, amber?

I would look at the trichomes a little ways from the top and see what is going on. If it looks goo check out the lower sections. Don't hesitate to clip the top buds off and tan the bottom stuff a while longer if you want to.jakester Reviewed by jakester on . Harvest time - clear, cloudy, amber? Guys need input for the timing of my first harvest. My questions is when you decide to harvest? Is it based on cloudy and or amber crystals at the top of the plant? middle of the plants? Or is it an average of tops and bottoms of the plants? I have 4 different types of plants and know when I would cut them but do not know if cloudy or amber reference is top of or middle of the plant (typically). Thanks for any input :) Rating: 5Think of your buds like chocolate chip cookies: some people like em crunchy and some people like em chewy. Personally, I want them tanned golden brown but not crispy....and no one likes cold raw dough in the middle of their cookie.
