    rubbermaid tubs as pots?

    heyy guys
i was thinking of using one of those rubbermaid plastic tubs as pots due to the hieght restrictions of my room the dimensions of the tub is
    24 x 16 x 8¾

think they will grow normally without shock or stress due the hieght of pot?? will the roots spread to all corners of tub??

im planning to grow one screened monster w alot of bud sites..the screen is gonna be around 20x20
    thanks for the input

I think it could work. But i always like to look at the con's as well. Hum, the roots may grow more then the above plant? If height is a issue, that would be one monster plant growing in that ''pot''. But i guess with the screen, that would help. The thing is the light isn't going to penetrate as well through the screen. You could lst it from the get go and get a mangled monster . What are you planing on using for lights? When you get going let me know, because i wanna see this monster plant:thumbsup:

Tubs should be fine just remember to provide plenty of holes for drainage.:rastasmoke:

They make perfect drip trays to go under the tub. I use 19 gallon tubs, and they work just fine. Earthworms keep the soil from compacting and provide fertilizer, too.
