And you are just discovering this today??

What is fun to do is watch how differing stations with supposed differing views, still find ways to reinforce each other on the same topic for differing reasons.
Try to find ANYTHING in the last couple years in any major media outlets that portray Obama as bad. It can't be found!(other then a few questions about his heritage) Yet the facts are, other then changing the federal "War on drugs" policies. He hasn't changed ANYTHING. He's doing all the exact stuff we loved to hate Bush for(just with different names). For example we are no longer in the "War on terrorism" because it's now called the "Overseas contingency operations". And we are no longer in "Economic downturn", we are now in "Economic stablization". Yet both are the same people doing the same things for the same reasons IN THE SAME WAY! Just different names painted on the same old faces with a positive spin by the media. Then re-inforced by them saying the same things OVER AND OVER on every station and in every newspaper. :wtf:
The only thing that will stop these people from walking all over us is standing up to them in person. Be it rallys or protests(Best), Voting in polls(medium effect), Writing your representatives (also best), to donating to the cause through some group(good effect, not as good as being at a rally or protest in mass OR writing to your congress person or representative).
Point is our media is doing this because our government MAKES them do it. We no longer have reporters who investigate(like on TV). All they do is read what they are told to read and report what is put in front of them. THEN their bosses only job is to insure field reports are "acceptable" to the FCC and our governments agenda.
I'd put money on it, that if EVERY mmj patient was at the protest on the 11th. All the "news" would show would be the edges of the protest (fewer people then the huge crowd) and claim a small turnout from what was expected(Not exactly a lie). The only people state wide who'd know any better were the people AT the protest and the few hundred that happened to drive by it.
Unfortunately it becomes SO complex. Trying to convince our reps to do what we want! What we need to do is EVERYTHING we can do! Donate, protest AND write letters, Find and vote in polls as well. Make signage and hang it around town! ANYTHING you can think that might help. It's our best hope!
P.S. Always add in every letter to your Rep,. " I will not vote for you if you vote other then how I want you to vote". This is the guy/gals biggest fear in politics!A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.
I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country.
