Hey brah, right meow i'm cloning with an ez cloner 60 site and just been using the roottech cloning gel on the stems, put them in there, wait 10-15 days, and cash money comes out. no solutions needed, but if you wanna get a little more aggro on the rooting, you can use the Clonex solution, comes in a black bottle, works like gold. Not really necessary, but it'll keep the green in the plants and help them stay healthy and reduce stress.

I'm a dirt grower but I'm going to be cloning in aero and moving to dirt once root growth starts. Some years back I briefly used a so-called aeroponic cloning machine, and I recall having an almost 100% success rate with using nothing but distilled water in the thing. This one was built out of a 5 gallon bucket and the streams it sprayed out were pretty solid and stationary, but it worked like a charm.
