I couldn't agree more Gypski!! As a Marine myself I would love to see the VA make MMJ available to vets. It's not like it' a big secret that vets smoke weed, and for PTSD and the such, it sounds like it could be a miracle drug.

I would posit that with Camp Pendleton and other military bases in California, some vets and active duty status personnel aren't clandestinely getting mmj. I would have to admit, if I was one, I'd be tasking some records to the docs that sign. And units with multiple tours aren't going to sweep their ranks and realistic one's would look the other way if its not effecting readiness but helping it. Cannabis is a great morale booster sir.
