WTF??

It's happened to me ever since I can remember. Central time zone here so it's midnight that it goes down, and I can usually access it again by 1230 or so.

I always assumed that's when the servers do their backup thing or reload or something, but now I'm curious as to what really goes on in that half hour... Hmmmm....

Happens to me too. I just get pissed and hit refresh repeatedly or search through a seed bank website until it comes back up....

yea i thought it was the DEA... during the PEAK USAGE TIME.... or not.. and ya at or b4 1:30 i can get back in.. one time it was only like 1:05 and i was stoked..
i too just surf away from the site/read the grow bible AGAIN while waiting and hit refresh every 5 mins with my fingers crossed!! lol
glad to know others have this problem..
hit up the thread if this is a problem for you tonite... i hope the MODS can fix this as i am usually surfing the site at the time this happens.. my suggestion is 4 AM EST...

I'm @ gmt +10, 16 hours ahead of cst... so forum too busy messages usually hit in the late in the afternoon...

High traffic time? Maintenance? I dunno, I just go elsewhere, this isn't the only place on the internet where you can see what other growers are getting up to.

Bigger target? bigger target for what? I don't think it makes much difference how many forums I happen to browse. I log at one, mod at one, post in a couple more and read all over the place. I'm interested in culture and there is quite a difference between online communities depending from which parts of the world they draw their memberships.

I don't know that I would call any forum 'the best', this one is certainly interesting though...

I could spend days ogling mind-bending grows elsewhere, but it seems this is really the only place I post. This here lil' corner of the web is more my speed, I reckon. Everything seems like less of a competition here.
