I stopped using Superthrive when I realized the plants grow fine without whatever it is in the ingredients.
Here's a couple of articles giving a little insight into Superthrive and additives in general.
The first link is specifically from a Bonsai site, but if you substitute "cannabis" every time you see "bonsai"...it still applies. Excellent info for even an advanced gardener, in an easy to understand article. A tad long, but the importance of the info is tremendous.
Second article is more from the horticulturist quoted in the first link, whom I've often quoted in these forums when attempting to de-bunk gardening myths.

I thought that ST was all hype but then I noticed Dr.Budgreengenes uses a huge dose all the way through flowering. I was under the impression that it would discourage flowerset and add stretch in the bloom phase.
What to believe....?Think of your buds like chocolate chip cookies: some people like em crunchy and some people like em chewy. Personally, I want them tanned golden brown but not crispy....and no one likes cold raw dough in the middle of their cookie.

My poilicy is to use the knowledge of those with sound science at their back, and disregard hearsay, unknown concoctions and wives tales. Like those at Washington State University. (Linda Chalker-Scott)
More power to the good 'doctor' but I personally wouldn't recommend a product without knowing what's in it. After all...my wife and I smoke the plant the stuff is going into, and secret formula's with unspecified ingredients is folly.
Sound horticultural knowledge is valid whether out in the fields, or in the growroom. The articles in the link above have provided me a broader skepticism of a lot of megabud 'snake-oils' being pimped to the cannabis world.
Right now I'm living the results of using a 3-part nutrient regimin. The only thing I add these days is unsulphured molasses as a bud enhancer (provides calcium as well) and phosphoric acid (phDown) to lower my ph. Excellent results on a budget without those high dollar additives nutrient companies want you to believe you must have. Growth, flavor and effects no different than when I was spending 400% more on additives, ammendments and stuff to correct conditions caused by the original products.
I've grown a bunch of crops with a variety of nutrient regimins with a plethora of ammendments, additives, and repair products to fix the problems often cause by the original products. I've always gone back to the simplicity of growing, not the complexity. Works for me...

I've never used the stuff. I don't know the N-P-K, but it (the maxicrop liquid seaweed ad) does mention specifically "Also contains growth regulators which stimulate vigorous root development and plant growth". By stimulating growth, I'm guessing it's going to be fighting the plant's desire to bulk-up during flower.
Best way to find out is a side-by-side, but I'd only use it through the growth stage.
p.s. Most bulking agents are molasses-derived. Provides calcium and a couple of micronutes. (my Fox Farms has pretty much all the micro's you'll need, though)
