You can only use it with NiMH rechargeables. An Alkaline would be drained in a flash.

Seems like 5 min of run time wouldn't last you all day.
I've never tested one on continuous connection, so don't know if 5 min. is accurate. But since you only leave the bat connected long enough to get a hit, even 5 min. run time could give you a lot of hits.

I don't know why so many people feel that this vape has battery issues. There's no other vape on the market that can run off an inexpensive AA rechargeable. Buy some extra batteries and keep 'em charged. These bats can also be used in pretty much any device that uses AA size. Thomas Distributing has some great prices on batteries. Look for MAHA. Sanyo is also a good brand.
vapefiend Reviewed by vapefiend on . Quiet and portable Vaporizers I have a Vapir one 5.0 that I been using for almost a year now, and I would absolutely love it to death if it was portable, and if it didn't make that irritating fan noise. I avoided using it at times because I don't want family members questioning the noice. So, now I would like to explore some opinions on some reliable quiet portable vaporizers that have entered the market, to seek for that perfect vaporizer that is just right. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. :hippy: Rating: 5
