Bad Parenting i agree,doesnt help as my Ritalin was a clump round the moey,what doesnt sit with me right is that you totally are looking at this one sided,ive had to look at both sides for my sons sake,Different parenting styles careers and nan takes over,My Sons mother was so focused on her career that her mother had our son alot of the time and he done what he god dam pleased.When he came home he was stuck in no mans land as to rules what was ok there wasnt at home therefore he wanted to stay at his nans more and more,being our first child it suited so i have to take respocibility for behavourial problems along with his mother.But in truth to her it was what she needed an excuse in my eyes anyway,a spoilt brat really so play the tape a bit further not just the beginning.People with adhd are some of the cleverest people in history at what they want to know .If they dont want to know then forget it.My son is a mathmatical genius at 5 he learnt Volume ,he could recite over 100 films word for word,every dinasaur,every flag every capital city and he wasnt even 8 years old.Genius borders on Madness a thin line,he has recently come top of his year at school in mathmatics with a score of 99.2%then said to me imagine if i had tried dad,iI do see your point and that was my opinion,even though ive got it my brothers my Dad,My point is he cant tie his shoe laces up he struggles with the simple things in life so i would think there is something there,what i dont know but a boy of 12 now with an iq of 155 who struggles to dress himself brush his teeth or forgets to how would you define a child with adhd typical symtoms????
