Does ADHD make you more sensitive to marijuana
I agree with what frosted posted out from my own experience as well, main thing for me is to find a good dose that helps but isn't making me "stoned" and unproductive. THC binds to your Anandamide receptors in the areas of your brain that control thinking, memory, and movement. Too much and you can throw the balance out of whack causing the many different "side-effects" just like any medicine. As was pointed out, it effects everyone differently and your tolerance is really low right now, so start with a hit and dial in your own dosage based on how that works.
You really should look into growing your own because every strain has different effects and strengths, so getting your mmj from a dealer isn't usually ideal because they seldom only deal with one type for long periods of time. In general, I believe Sativa-dominant strains help better with focus and concentration. If you're looking more into controlling the hyperactivity aspect then mostly Indicas are probably for you. I look for slightly Indica-dominant strains myself, because it's also used for general pain and sleep.
