i havent grown from seed since the 80s.....clones are the way to go!

Hahahah Id put seeds up against ANY clones. Seed vs clone. Seeds all the way baby. Espeically if you know how to sex from a seed. A plant from a seed will always be stonger than a clone.... Don't get me wong I am a master cloner and love cloning... But when it good stong massive yeild, seeds all the way... As for outdoor, I would NEVER plant a clone.. That could be a 1 to 3 pound differance.... Per plant...

maybe, maybe not.
i have never seen much of a difference between clones and seeds yield wise myself.a clone is is a cutting off of a mature verified strain and sexed plant, so you pretty much know up front what your getting without issues. guys in the know were cloning way before most even know what it was. over the last 30+ years, ive seen seeds "sexed" before by "experienced" guys and guaranteed to be females, and ive also seen a large failure rate ( 50/50 +/-) determining the sex by seed selection alone. there really as far as i know isnt a reliable way to "sex" seeds, unless the plants been "feminized"....generally, plants are "feminized" by cloning them (females) and then spraying them with a silver solution, which essentially "shocks" them and prevents them from developing as males. seeds from those plants will only produce female plants, hence they are "feminized".

as far as growing clones outdoors, ive gown seed and clones side by side ourtdoors , and never had any issues whatsoever. actually, ive had the clones come out stronger in my experience. ive also grown the same way indoors, and in a greenhouse and in those cases, same thing.......


its all 6 one, half dozen the other. everyones got their own ways and opinions.

tell you what bro. this march, ill grow clones and you grow seeds, and take pictures,ect and document everything and we can see how they come out and post pix and results here. ill even wait to get my clones until you get your seedlings up to about 6-8" or so...it would be an interesting experiment

what i did is i only picked up 6 girls for now and ill get the other 6 when we do our thing......

Good on ya! This is going to be a killer test! I am going to plant God's gift, blue cheese, big mamma, Ocean Grown kush, GDP, and bubba kush. They all got crossed w/ big bud and I'm spraying for worms this year(lost at least 3 p's to those fuggers last year). Iv got seeds coming up every day and I like my to hit the dirt when they are 3 to 4ft..... I get started early! Ill try and get some pics up soon! Bare w/ me I am on a phone...

sounds like a plan......
im going to do white widow, big bud and trainwreck for our experiment....but you have to let me know when your seedlings get between 8 and 10 inches so i can pick mine up, so we start at an even size.......i would do U2 but since i got these clones recently, i want to make sure they (our grow) clones are a different strain....

like some bubblegum / big bud / white widow ect...
