1000W in 5'x4'x6.5'... will this work?

Well, I've always heard too much light can't hurt and the price difference is negligible between the 600W and 1000W, so I went with the 1000W.

Here's the details on the room. It's not totally enclosed. It's in a corner of a basement. There's a partition coming out of one wall a few feet from the corner so there's actually 3 walls surrounding the room and then the 4th wall will just be a curtain. I have an air-cooled reflector and I plan on having a 200CFM inline duct fan pulling the air out of the hood (one end will be open) and out of the room... The intake will be passive at this point, but I'm debating on whether I need to add forced-air intake (maybe from some fresher air upstairs). I will have an oscillating fan circulating the air within the room...

So, this will be about 1.5 air changes per minute, all through the hood/reflector. It is in a basement that is generally pretty cool, so that's why I'm thinking I can get away with slightly less than ideal ventilation. There's also a direct vent to the garage where I could let in some cool air to balance the temps. Right now I don't use the garage. So, if I can keep temps in check do you think this will work? Could I add a second 200CFM inline fan in series and get twice the air movement?

Sounds goods to me.....but, 6.5 foot ceiling will require keeping plants low/short.

ps ..don't forget to put something between the plant pots and the basement floor....then, measure your total height after hanging the light..
