    Let's see some pics!
Think of your buds like chocolate chip cookies: some people like em crunchy and some people like em chewy. Personally, I want them tanned golden brown but not crispy....and no one likes cold raw dough in the middle of their cookie.

He can't post pics. Only 5 posts total.

I've seen a few really nice plants grown under florescent. Just not the same kind of yield I've seen with HIDs.

If you get your post count up you should show some pics before harvest! (you got like 6 weeks )

I just picked up a 4 foot 8 bulb Sun Blaze T5 setup. They go for $275 new and i scored one at my local hydro shop that had been returned because of neglagence. They took 120 for it and i fixed it for $3.

I have heard of and seen great results with florescents.
I guess we will find out soon enough!

I've had pretty good results myself with them, but with the crappy penetration and low intensity you have to get creative to get near the yield of an HID. Here's one I finished around new years, all fluoro grow:

Did you LST that? Looks great!

I have a switchable 400w for overhead light and the t5 for side light.

I have heard that the t5 is the ultimate veg bulb.
With 8 bulbs I get 40k lumens vs. 32k with the 400w mh.
