Touchy subject for some. In Cervates bible, there is a picture of a sativa that was grown outdoors. Half of the plant is in flower, half is not. Why? Half of the plant during the night was getting direct light from a HPS street light and the rest of the plant was shaded from that light.

So, the half that did not flower was only shaded/did not get direct light during the 'night' phase.

Part two.
My grow area is conjoined rooms. There is a door between the two and I just used a plastic (white translucent) folding door. During the dark cycle the room still gets a slight glow from the veg room. Been growing in that setup for 6 years and not having any issues.

This leads me to believe that it is direct light, not diffused that will have effect of messing/stressing the plants. As mentioned above....what about a full moon night. That is not total darkness.

I think we are worrying too much and not letting nature take it's course.

Both photos are females. Congrats
