Heart attack survivor wants related cannabis info.On Christmas eve I suffered a 98% oclussion of the left ventricle and was rushed into hospital for emergency cardiac surgery, today is my first day at home and as you probably can imagine I now have many questions regarding any further use of cannabis.
I would like to ask for any links that you may know of dealing with this particular subject.

Heart attack survivor wants related cannabis info. Thanks man, it shook me up a bit and I know I will have to make some lifestyle changes.
I intend to stop smoking the herb but I would like to continue partaking by way of edibles.

I was very nearly an ex-Psychocat. :wtf:

Heart attack survivor wants related cannabis info.98%, fookin hell you nearly were an ex-Psychocat indeed, what a way to get out of xmas with the family.

All the best for getting into a more 'heart friendly' lifestyle. I've found it difficult, but I try and remind myself that the alternative is dying and I'm really not ready for that yet.

I still smoke some weed, but gave up the baccy completely and cut down the green substantially, still looking for a better method of ingestion. I'd love a vape but I can't afford one, I'm looking at going to something like Weedhound's canna capsules. The main problem with edibles is the fats used, neither butter or coconut oil is allowed in a low cholesterol diet.

Heart attack survivor wants related cannabis info.Since my attack 7 years ago I have stopped all meds the doctors were giving me to make me sick and worse. I have been thrown out of the heart doctors office and need to find another. This doctor refusses to look after me because I won't take all the poisons he passes out. It's a shame because I smoked cigs for over 20 years. Boold pressure, cholesteral and all are that of young person.

Be carefull about the MMJ and heart problems. At first I could feel it constrict my blood vessels but then I found a strain or 2 that made me feel much better. Be carefull on the dose too, just a little too much and well you know.

The way I see it is, I was going to die anyway. So I quit cigs for good and went to MMJ no other meds. Their meds make me sick as hell and keep me going back to the doctor feeling like I was going to die soon. My meds make me feel good and I want to get out and do something or find something to munch on. LOL.

Let me just say that some people need the meds from doctors. Only you can decide for yourself. Find a doctor that will work with you on your meds or to reduce them to minimal.
