not good smell
So I'm starting to get a little worried because inside of my grow room there is a slight odor that I can smell that just isn't right. I just started my 4th week of flowering, the temp at night is like 68, day is around 78-80. humidity is 52% lights off, not sure when on, as I just got one that reads humidity. I have the plants on small bowls that act as risers and they are in bins. This way I can water the plants thoroughly each time and not worry about overwatering. However sometimes the water will sit there for a while, and its the dirty water that came from the plant. Could this be the smell? is this not a good idea to do with the bins? Advice would be greatly appreciated!

not good smell
Do a thorough check for mold, and empty the bin so there is no standing water. Do you have good ventilation?

not good smell
Could be the water, I water outside of the grow area and let them drain for half hour then put them back in. Also I know that when the lights are farther away you get more of the intricate smells/tastes from the oils (from Cannabis Culture article). I noticed recently that the buds that are within 2" of my bulb smell more spicy than the ones a bit farther away which smell more of citrus/skunk...The closer ones are also maturing a lot quicker.
