Cannabis tea idea, will this work?

I like Chai tea, I live with kids that are old enough to smell and know weed (they are college age) so I need some input. They know I drink Chai but not this chai!!

Would this work?

Act like I am making tea as usual:

1.) Boil Water
2.) Pour water over usual Chai bag (only kiddies don't know it's LOADED with the goodens)
3.) Milk added already w/little butter (real butter, real milk) in the cup so it does not cool the water too much to quick
4.) Let it sit until it cools, then casually put it back in the microwave to "heat up the tea"

Some background, I'm a lightweight, a half a joint puts me in a good spot for most of the day. It takes me months to go through an ounce. Usually I bake it in brownies and hide them out- they end up all crusty and most of the time they come out tasting like crap. And how many brownies can you eat?

Alcohol may be an easier route, but I like the idea of cutting out alcohol. I really think its a horrible poison.

Any other ideas? Thanks! I'd love to just sit back and blow clouds all over but not happening. Only on my trips to the beach in No Cal.

We used to occasionally make rounds of tea with ground stems and shake; tasted lovely but don't know if it got us stoned at all, then again we never tried it with actual bud.

Why not just fess up to the kids? Surely college age students won't give you greif for smoking a bit off puff?

Also chai tea is fantastic got a cup of it going at the moment.

The milk fat will pick up the THC. Here's a study you may find interesting.

An alternative is to make a simple alcohol tincture- cannabis + good vodka to cover it + glass jar with a tight lid + one week. Strain it = tincture. :thumbsup: Run a search for "green dragon" or "tincture" for details and fancier recipes. Then you just add just a little bit to your tea, or just roll a couple of droppers-full around in your mouth.

i dont know about tea bag trial and error on that but with brownies look up recipe they give you a nice relaxing high and follow instructions exactly
