My understanding is the "`dro" is short for hydo(ponics), how it's grown. A lot of growers use bag seed, so they don't really know the genetics of what they are growing. IMO

I'm from the northshore of MA and I took a trip to Tampa, FL recently and met some people who claimed to have dro, but have never heard of headies or KBs. It wasnt really that good of bud (decent high, but got munchies and eventually it made me pass out) compared to the nug i can get at home, which ranges from crappy regs to dank headies.
