    need help buying fan

    im growing in a 56 cf closet using a 400w hps. the ballast is in the room as well. what size (cfm) fan should i get to adequetly ventilate the room, and keep it at an optimal tempurature??

    You should get the highest flow you can afford & set it up on a speed controller like Speedster so you can adjust to what you need...

    you're gonna need a blower, a simple fan won't be enough, I predict ... the ballast throws off a LOT of unnecessary heat, I definitely would place it elsewhere ... in my similar-sized cabinets, 250cfm, (plus additional circulation), didn't even come close, to being enough ... I've generally found, while you can get too many lumens, you can never get enough ventilation ... good luck :smokin:
