I haven't noticed any change in taste, smell or effects of my buds since changing from organic soil based growing to coco based hydro. If anything the plants survive the heat here much better in coco than in soil and the pots are much lighter, so a lot easier for me to handle with arthritis. Doubt I'll ever go back to all soil grows.

I know hydro is hella fast, I know soil is prone to insects, I have all the basic info but.... ...what do the connoisseurs prefer these days? When I used to grow hydro I was never really happy with the taste or the...subtleties in flavor, high, duration and final product in general. I would characterize the buds as consistent but almost boring and tasteless. Have things progressed to the point where any people prefer hydro for taste etc? If so what are the Rating: 5
