Daisy cloner?
Has anyone ever used a cloner called a Daisy Cloner, and if so what was your experience with it? The price point is attractive but I wanted to hear from someone who'd actually had real experience with it before deciding to purchase one or not.

Daisy cloner?
Cops took one from me but only after I turned it into a bubble cloner. It has a huge water pump for a small container. The first couple times I tried it I loaded cuttings in and setup a timer for the spray pumps. The next day the water pressure had blasted the stems right off. I mean gone. I tried to get up with the company with no luck. Tried to adjust the pressure with no luck.
Many clone cuttings have died to bring you this technical data. Use it wisely.

Tiny I can't get your link to download. I had a Daisy 8 site cloner and they put too big of a water pump in it.

Well the cloner is up and running fine now after an initial glitch.I learned a very valuable lesson about an aeroponic pump. They're very sensitve to clogging up, therefore I will make sure that the thing is totally clean as well as my solution. That little oversight on my part cost me a few clones (at least three out of eight).

Okay so if your using net pots then yeah you can use Hydroton or Vermiculite mixed with Hydroton, or Silica stone, rockwool etc. A bunch of options out there. You could just root the clone without the net baskets and use neoprene collars to suspend the cutting.

On this particular cloner ,you have no choice but to use the net pots ,otherwise the foam disks will fall through.I'm gonna try this first time without media and see. No substitute for hands-on experience I guess. Any other tips will be most appreciated.
