    Hello, I'm Puppydawg...

I love Cannabis: It has enriched my life in so many ways and enabled me to function even though I have a chronic illness.

I want to change the world with Cannabis: It can relieve peoples' suffering, revive depressed economies, and heal the planet.

I also want very much to micropropigate Cannabis: I'm looking for a feller around here that calls himself "Old Mac"...Anyone seen him?imp:

    Hello, I'm Puppydawg...

    Thanks for the welcome!

Old Mac's name came up a few times while I was doing cannabis tissue culture research; he's actually the reason I joined. I have some information to share with him (and the rest of the class)...

The missing link seemed to be media composition. I think I found it.

    Hello, I'm Puppydawg...

Okay, I'll start with what Carol Stiff of Kitchen Culture Kits has to say about Cannabis Tissue Culture:

So I did some further research and found some tomato protocols

    And an excellent report here:

Based on this information, I'm going to try a medium of MS, 1mg/l BAP for callus inducement. For regeneration: N6 medium, no hormones. For plantlet elongation: MS media, no hormone. For rooting: 1/2 strength MS, no hormone. Two teaspoons of sugar in medium except root inducement decrease dosage to 1.5 Tbs.

I have Carols' kit so I measure my agar with a spoon; slightly increase dosage for rooting medium.

I'll be trying this in January and will post results.
