Hydroponics in Rockwoll
Hey guys, this is my first grow in rockwoll and I'm having trouble finding information on feeding, how often, how much, etc. Right now I'm feeding some babies that are in the first week of veg 1/2 power Metrop nuets (1.2 ec since they're indicas) every 8 hours for 3 min using a ebb and flow system. As far as the cubes go they are 3 inch and I soaked them for 24+ hours in PH balanced water that was 5.5 after the 24 hours. Advice please! I have some good genetics in the batch so I know they will respond well if I get the feeding down but right now they are looking slightly burnt and the leaves are warped looking.

60 3"X3"X2.5" cubes under a 600 w HPS thats on 24X7. They are 15 days old right now and not looking too good. I got them on a 3 minute 4 times a day cycle. The PPM is 1180 (.7 scale) and the PH is 5.8-6.0, water temp is 23 c and the avg. room temp/r hum is 75 f/45%. Any advice is good advice. Please help me these are good clones from Humbolt that I want to spread around S.D, gracias.

Your PPM is about what it should be for flowering, way to high for that young a plant. Drain the system flush with plain PH'd water then refill with PPM's about 1/3 or so of what you said it was (1100+). 60 3" blocks under 1 600w HPS? hope you got more light than that for 60.

Toon is right about the ppm - way too high. Mine in veg never exceed 750 ppm. Also consider cutting back on the number of sites. When starting out the fewer the better. RW can be a headache if proper preparation is ignored: always PH. The times and intervals of watering all come down to the plants needs. After each feeding check to see if they need more/less. Then adjust.
