Hempy Bucket Discussion! Pros Welcome!
Sorry, I made a mistake. For a true hempy style bucket, the medium should be 25% vermiculite and 75% perlite. now to use coco, it doesn't hold as much water as vermiculite so only 25% perlite for coco should be ok. Any pros correct me if I assume something wrong. I do make a lot of assumptions to get by.
huffypuffy Reviewed by huffypuffy on . Hempy Bucket Discussion! Pros Welcome! Well well well, I'm back at Cann.com momentarily while school has calmed down for the Holidays. Christmas break is ever nearing for me and I hope that all of you are encountering good karma around these cheery times. The reason I haven't been around much lately is because I have been undoubtedly swamped with academic, professional, and relationship commitments of which have not allowed me much time to enjoy chiming in on fun discussions. But enough about me, let's get DOWN TO Rating: 5

Hempy Bucket Discussion! Pros Welcome!
I've had very good results with my 100% perlite hempy buckets. I prefer to stay away from vermiculite for health reasons (the dust can be carcinogenic if I'm not mistaken). I just rinse the perlite 1st to remove the dust as suggested by a fellow hempy grower.
