I have been growing outdoors for 10 yrs and this year is my first indoor and I am running 2-400wt for 25-30 plants and I wish I had got 600's. The more the wattage the bigger and better your plant will be and if u ever decide to add a couple the light can handle it. Good Luck!!!
thanks again for the info, i might go for the 400 but as i only want to go 1plant at a time, finkin of the elec, as its only 1 plant for now. i'll let me gdad start off with the 250watt and if its taking along time to grow i'll upgrade to 400 and use the 250 at my house.
