Having grown up in a family that dealt assorted things, and having been around, this was of course, for sure, a sting. They talk all that stuff afterward to put a scare in you, and why not? If you were the police, it would be foolish to not shake out weaker "players" just by scaring them.

I'm sure there are a lot of these guys who are wound up like 100 year clocks just PRAYING for the chance to get to bust down doors in their "Terminator" gear. They don't care why they are being allowed to kick down the door, just as long as they get to put on their GI Joe uniforms and pick up the automatic weapons.

I've been in a house that was getting rushed 4 times. It's not a thrill, and VERY few men have the nerve and/or lack of brains to talk ANY shit (even if that "shit" is their constitutional rights) when they are shocked, being manhandled and have a loaded weapon in their face. Especially when you can tell that the guy on the trigger most likely would LIKE to shoot you. And then get a medal for it.
