I agree. I believe they will be somewhat easy on dispensaries in the end, because this is where the state will (or plan to) collect any taxes on this new industry. I'm sure this whole thing will change 20 times before anything is actually passed. However if the city of Denver over-restricts dispenaries they will loose money on this new tax base. We being in hard economic times, I doubt they will over do it and distroy that income.

However we should pay very close attention to WHO is proposing these changes. Next year we have state elections. I believe they are currently trying to pass regulation before their campains start in the spring and any negative press could cost them the election! Our stand should be to write them NOW! Tell them what they are doing now matters, and insure them we WILL point out how they voted when the election comes around. Maybe by seeing what the voters want, and how we will remember what they do on this vote. Maybe they will do the job we elected them to do, and not vote yes on something the people don't want or support.
