All good points there, sir! I think their popularity has to do with size and ease of growing(like you said with taking flowering control away). Makes it possible for anyone to grow a plant in their closet with just some soil and a few cfl bulbs. Honestly I don't think I would have gotten back into growing if I hadn't heard of these.
