Ordering seeds online. New poster, Some questions

Just reporting back to say that I got the seeds I ordered exactly a week to the day! As time went on I stopped freaking out as much and had a good head on my shoulders but when I first ordered them I panicked a little. I'm sure some of you veterans can relate

Needless to say I am very happy right now and cant wait to plant these. too bad I'm waiting atleast another 2 months, but I'm sure the time will be well spent learning from my bagseed plants

Just made my account about a week ago as I'm setting up my first grow room. Ordered a 400w HPS/MH light waiting for that to come in (looks like tomorrow, yay!) and have some bag seed germating for my first grow. Anyways... Had a couple question. I want to order some ak/47, white widow, and super skunk. (for my next grow, 2-3 months down the line - after I get the hang of things) Looks like the attitude had a great selection with freebies. Damn it my ballast just died I think. I bought it from ebay and it died and I think im out of luck. My poor plants are going to suffer without that main source of light and this just sucks. I bought a 400w online, it looked cheap but was $150. I guess you pay for what you get I dont know what to do right now... this sucks really bad

I have a MH and HPS and neither works.

also the fan isnt running on the ballast when plugged in. Im pretty sure its the ballast

That does suck. Is it a Mag or a Dig ballast? Manufacturer?

The good thing with the ol' Mag-type is they are usually pretty cheap to get going again.

For $150 it's probably a magnetic ballast, from what I've seen browsing ebay for em. Yeah they have the rebuild kits for less than $50, sometimes like $20 so you can swap out a part & test it if you're any good at that kind of stuff.

Also if it's a mag ballast at that price, it's most likely not switchable so unless one of the bulbs is a conversion bulb it's not going to work with both...Did they send you both in a kit?

Dang, sorry.
At that price point I expected to see a Mag, with a MH conversion bulb. I can't help with that one.

I messaged the seller to see what can be done. I'm not really hopful as ebay sellers usually have poor customer service. I think im out $150. Shit happens I guess.
