    Growing Indoor...A Few Questions...

I've been thinking about starting to grow, still not sure about it, but I figured best to learn as much as I can before I actually decide, that way i'll at least have the basic knowledge of how it should be done....

If anyone has the time to answer any of my Q's i'll appreciate it

Are regular florescent lights ok to use...or should it be an actual UV light made for plants?

How deep should the soil be?

How can you tell which plants are male and female and what should be done about the males? (And Why are males considered bad?)

On average, how long does it take for indoor to mature and be ready for harvesting?

Sorry if it seems like I know nothing, i know a lot about planting and such...just not with this particular plant

1 ) I would use an MH or HPS if I was you. If thats not the route you decide to take, look for some T5 Fluoros or into the CFL section.

2 ) For seedings I would say a 1/2 gal pot would suffice, plant them 1 inch below soil surface.

3 ) From seed you're looking at around 3-4 months as it has to veg for 2 months and flower for 2 months. From clone, after it roots you can have it done in 2 months, you wont have much because you didnt let it veg but you will still have smokable product.

4 ) Males are bad, they do not produce bud, BUT they do produce pollen for sexing. There are pictures widely available on forum, check the FAQ.

We're here to answer your question, Not a problem. :rastasmoke:
