    kaiten's 1st grow w/ CFL

Hi, I know how that goes. It's always a work in progress and an effort to upgrade during the growing to try to get better results. I've done that myself, but those look good for that amount of time. I hope my results will be as good, but I probably won't be able to start anything new until after the holidays. I've never started in winter before. I hope you get good results, and it's always a learning experience.

    Mike:thumbsup:

Hi, cool white I would think for the 1st, vegitation stage. Yellow, or better yet, more red for the bud stage. But I'm not an expert.

Well first off, I think this would have been better asked in your own thread.
And why do you need CFL sockets if your using an HPS system? :wtf:

Anyway....Can anybody tell me if it's normal for the new leaves to be a much lighter green than the older ones? I'm assuming it's because the chlorophyll hasn't been fully developed yet.

It's either when they are experiencing rapid growth or Nitrogen deficient in my experience.

I've had that happen with unusually light green. It stayed that way for a good while and nothing seemed to be amiss. It eventually changed to a more normal green.
