I drink beer, I cannot trust myself with hard liquor. I forced myself and a friend to finish a 40 of rum last weekend... such a stupid thing to do. We drank a lot then went for a journey... I didn't want to carry the bottle after awhile, but I didn't want to waste booze either.

I despise mixed drinks, so when I drink I drink it straight, and quickly... too quickly. I should just stick with beer.

If I was in the US of A, I'd stick to the spirits, as, to quote Monty Python:
American beer is a bit like having sex in a canoe......Its fucking close to water.

I actually prefer cider (which is alcoholic in the UK), preferably locally made cloudy stuff that'll give you piles, otherwise, Morgans Spiced rum & coke

Thank god for imports. Although Sam Adams isn't bad, and there are a bunch of little-known American beers that are good.

But yeah, coors light, budweiser, miller lite, etc - I try to stay away from those unless I'm broke, or there's a keg. Or ten.
