Seeking suggestions for THC for nausea

I know very little about MMJ but my 80 year old Father is very sick and just received written doctors recommendation for cannabis. Wondering what type of strain and formulation you would recommend for nausea and vomitting? He cant eat much, wont smoke and doesnt want pills. Does he have to go physically go to the store himself or can I go for him? He is pretty weak. Thanks in advance for your input.

Vaporizer is his best bet

I would say that vapor is best, and more in depth, a volcano or something with bags, this way he doesn't have to use much to any strength inhaling. As well as he can carry a plastic bag filled with vapor around.

As for a strain, seems like it would be better if he got a more Indica strain seeing as Sativa messes with your head more. He may feel weird but he will definitely get hungry and keep it down. After words, he may take a nap, that should be it.
