Couldn't tell you where I read it but,..

MH for all stages,.. OK

HPS for all stages,.. GOOD

MH for Vegitative growth and HPS for flowering,.. BETTER

MH AND HPS for all stages after rooting,.. BEST

If this is true, I'd have to assume running a higher blue spectrum light that is supplimenting the HPS would be somewhere between BETTER and BEST.
