    DBV vs Vap Bro's HF

I want to get myself my first vaporizer for christmas. And I have come to the conclusion that Da Buddha Vaporizer and Vapor Brothers Hands Free are the two best in my price range.

Can you guys talk about your experiences with both, and please say why which one would be the better purchase for me.

    Thanks!

Also.. can these be bought at local headshops? Or is it my best bet to buy online?

The DBV has a more solid construction, being made of aluminum vs wood. Also the heater angle is better on the DBV, and the quick change wand should save you some time changing screens.
You might be able to find a DBV in stores, but you will prolly pay less online. The manufacturer is raising their price to $190 tomorrow I think, so your best bet would prolly be eBay for a good deal.

Yeah I was looking around last night and as soon as I saw the price was going to be raised tomorrow I ordered it ha! I'm kind of upset that it doesn't come with a nice grinder. Or at least the website doesn't mention it coming with one..

I just voted in your poll and accidentally clicked the wrong box. :wtf: I'd buy the DBV, no question about it. Much sturdier design and better heater angle. Nice carry/storage bag too. Some very good deals on eBay, including black housing for under $165 delivered. Black is usually $20 more than silver.

i like the idea of the vb being able to use either hands free or standard whips with their heater cover. and i like the new ezchange wand they have out. also i think the heater angle is a nonissue, as it isnt that extreme of an angle, and you can still get stuff in the dbv too. the dbv is made in china, and correct me if im wrong, but i think the vb is made in the usa. i dont think you can go wrong with either unit. i tihnk it comes down to your preferance as far as looks. functionality should be close to the same. i dont think any will be any better in vapor production. the dbv does come with a few extra goodies, like the bag for it.

Thanks to all who voted and gave an input. Like I said, I went with the DBV. I paid extra for 2 day UPS shipping so hopefully she'll be here soon! And I will post in this thread letting everyone know how I like it. I ended up getting the silver as color isn't worth $20 more, even though the black version looks awesome! And I'd buy on ebay, but I dont trust most sellers there.

I've got well over a hundred buys on eBay-only had one problem (seller wouldn't/couldn't ship) and eBay/PayPal refunded my money for that one. A lot of on-line vape dealers sell on eBay. You can usually save a few bucks.

They both work the same way and as far as I'm concerned only offer ergonomic differences.

I've used both and I'm still not entirely satisfied with the results. If I were you I'd get a VRIP TECH VHW... especially if you already have a glass tube. You don't have to deal with that plastic shit and I think it works better and gives better hits..... and isn't better hits what it's all about.

Good luck. The Vapor Bros and SSVs will do the trick for sure though!

EDIT: Oops, didn't read entire thread. I see you went with the SSV type. Enjoy.

I've been buying online for years on eBay, and to this date have NEVER had ONE problem with any of my transactions. I have also started selling DaBuddhas and Silver Surfers on eBay with great success.
I love the eBay marketplace design. eBay awards sellers with high ratings and promotes them to the top of search listing results. Buyer/seller feedback is also a great way of looking into the other person you are dealing with in the transaction. If you are paying through paypal, both the buyer and seller and very well protected by any problems with purchases. And any money received by the seller is held for up to 21 days before being released into their account. This gives buyers a chance to file a complaint before the seller is home free with the cash.

I absolutely love eBay, and it's the first place I check for a great deal
