hey i got a question for anyone that knows.. will 110 cfm cool a 250w HPS??

it is what i want to run for the vent in the new DIG.. its way quiet.. feel me?

I would think that a 110CFM fan should be more than enough for your needs, Mainegrown.

my thought is to have the 110 cfm fan extract the air in the cab out by the bulb.. cooling the light and refreshing the air in the cab.. sound like its sound?

i am hoping the heat output of the 250 HPS is gonna be way lower than the 600 i have now :thumbsup:
unfortunately the camera's batteries are still on the run.. i am in fast pursuit but can seem to make any headway
gonna bite the bullet and buy some new rechargeable batteries soon

Sheesh, my 600 watt pumps way more heat than my 400 watt does. I've never worked with a 250 but I'm sure it will be minimal in comparison. I haven't checked the dimensions of the cab you're planning to put these items in, but do the math on cubic feet and I think you'll find that 110 per minute might be overkill. You may find yourself getting a fan speed controller or putting the thing on a periodic timer.

idk i got some friends that pull 8+ oz off each cola bud.. but that is outdoors on the island.. we dont have to worry bout law out there
they get over a pound / plant.. i love harvest season in maine!

Outside grows are amazing, me and 2 of my friends couple years ago we had a 1 month old plant that we transplanted outside in May. We harvested in october, I don't know what was the weight, but it was a HUGE top cola. 5-6" in diameter and like 1½ foot long. Plant was 7 feet tall!

But we harvested too late, and it was not very potent.

i am all about the overkill..i had a 2'x4' footprint.. now i have a 2'x3' footprint.. i had like ~9000 lumens /sq ft.. not im gonna have ~5000 lumens /sq ft.. i am sure i will feel that loss but the slackening on the electric and the less heat output will be nice..
