I wonder what fuggn idiot even awarded the Nobel Piece Prize to a president for doing what? seriously? i mean how about the group of scientists that helped develop the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. IMO they are in need of the Piece prize.

I mean THEY RIOT! burning, looting, fall scale boulder throwing, petrol bombing warfare with the gestapo!
HERE! In the UK...you have to apply to the police for a fuckin permit to protest!.....they then decide if you are allowed to protest.... and it is illegal to protest anywhere within 1 km of parliament! many people have been arrested for doing so!
:wtf: hahaha!
Whats it like in America with regards to staging a protest?

In America people get together through mass marketing and protest where ever the hell they want, or at least try. Police will just watch and control the protest as people get stupid. Im not much of a protester as i just do my things and let everyone do theirs.

Do you really have to "have" a permit? i know you do in certain places. my example is the Joe Horn case. If you youtube Joe Horn, and watch the 3rd video from the top, lol. That is a protest in Houston, TX with quanell x or w/e his name is, and some other black panthers. i dont think they had a permit. Of course i dont know though. But either way the people in that neighborhood and those bikers, weren't hearing it. I want to have a big protest for medical marijuana down here in Houston. But could never get enough people together to at least hit the news. Would be so awesome though!!

I lived in Los Angeles during the Rodney King riots. It looked like it kinda sucked for folks downtown. to me it was just a paid vacation from work and time to spend with my girl during curfew.
imp:
They were always protesting something at the federal building in Westwood, honk if you support world peace or something. my first week in college there were students camped out in tents on the campus, protesting the fact that they served pepsi in the student union instead of coke. (or the other way around, can't remember). apparently one of those drinks were big supporters of aparteid. the establishment finally caved, switched the drink and look what happened over there.
