It doesn't matter what the qualifying condition is. The attitude of the primary care physician is inexcusable. I would be getting a different doc for myself if that's her level of knowledge. My PCP wouldn't recommend for me, however, she isn't against MMJ and has recommended it for a couple of her really serious cases. I went through Montana Caregiver's Network to get my recommendation (obviously you will have to go through the NM equivalent).
dennisjill Reviewed by dennisjill on . Need a new doctor I had such a frustrating visit with my doctor today, I need to get it off my chest. I have a qualifying condition, and my specialist believes that mmj could help me. My condition is treatable by conventional means, but I can not take narcotic pain relievers due to allergies and I have to take mass quantities of regular pain relievers to make a difference. My specialist looked into it and directed me to the NM Dept of Health website. I filled out my parts of the paperwork, took it to his Rating: 5
