CFL Light at Home Depot
Sorry for the old thread bump, but I wanted to share my thoughts.
I saw this the other day. My thought was this: For $15 you can get 3 2-Packs of 26w CFLs. Thats 156w of light for the same price as one of those bulbs. Almost double. Now not only can you distribute the smaller bulbs more evenly around the plant, but what happens if your $15 bulb bruns out? Well you need to run off and buy a new one ASAP, and your out $15. If you lose a single 26w CFL, your out $2.50, and your plant(s) are not likely to suffer from one missing bulb for a day or so.
Granted, your going to spend about $10 bucks in extra light splitters to run the 6 26 watt bulbs, but in the long run I think its a better option.
I did not get a chance to compare relative lumens. Was in a bit of a rush and thats all the math I felt like doing for one day :stoned:trex616 Reviewed by trex616 on . CFL Light at Home Depot Anyone used one of these yet? I found this in HD in the tool section for a worklight they sell. 2700K and 4200 lumens at 300 watt equivalency using 68 watts. I know its brighter than hell..:cool: Rating: 5
